Jean Azarel: Meilleurs voeux et actualité
Bonjour à toutes et tous,
Très bonne année pour vous, et celles et ceux qui vous sont chers
Que la santé, le bonheur d'aimer et de créer vous accompagnent tout au long
de 2014
Après 5 ans de travail, j'ai terminé "Waiting for Tina", 300 pages de
documents, interviews, photos inédites, la trajectoire d'une femme unique sous
forme de bio romancée qui doit maintenant trouver un éditeur (c'est en
cours) pour perpétuer la mémoire de Tina Aumont, fille de Jean-Pierre Aumont et
Maria Montez.
Une autre publication est certaine, grâce aux fidèles éditions Gros Textes,
"Love is everywhere", recueil hommage à mon ami poète marin pêcheur Alain Jégou
disparu en 2013. Elle me permettra de démarrer un cycle de lectures qui lui sera
dédié, choix de ses textes compris, concomittamment je l'espère à la sortie de
son ouvrage posthume "Direct live"
Et puis, afin de ne pas m'ennuyer, j'ai entrepris, elle a dit oui !, de
raconter la vie qui est un roman de Lu Pélieu, première femme de Claude Pélieu,
mais surtout femme libre encore et toujours (bises), un périple qui nous mènera
du Paname de Saint Germain des Prés au Paris d'aujourd'hui, via une ferme en
Côte d'or, le swinging London, la route, la Californie, un hameau hippie dans le
Var, le jazz et le rocck, toutes les causes des peuples, plein d'histoires
d'amour et parfois de haine, n'en jetez plus la coupe sera pleine....
Et puis, chut, d'autres surprises littéraires, sont dans les tuyaux,
faisons un voeu !

toute l'équipe de L'île logique, notre compagnie de théâtre et clowns de sciences fondamentales, est heureuse de vous souhaiter d'effectuer un agréable et joyeux tour autour du Soleil !!!
De nombreux projets se mettent en route pour cette nouvelle année, n'hésitez pas à venir vers nous si vous souhaitez venir :
- Mardi 14 janvier, au théâtre municipal de Poissy (78) : L'Affaire 3.14. Pièce de théâtre abordant le programme de maths et physique de 1ere et terminale.
- Le lundi 3 février à Bessancourt (78) : Y a pas rien , spectacle clown scientifique pour les tous petits.
- Du 17 au 21 mars, c'est la semaine des mathématiques, nous serons sans doute pris le 21 à Paris (Galois Poincaré mythes et maths) mais sommes disponibles le reste du temps.
- 14 mai Y a pas rien à Fleury Mérogis.
- 17 mai : L'île logique, co-organise avec la salle Grain de Sel et la ville de Séné (56) la première : journée en sciences inverses venez vous mettre scientifiquement la tête à l'envers dans un monde où on marche sur la tête...
- Nous montons par ailleurs, d'ici au printemps, un projet de création de spectacle scientifique avec une classe de 5e et la cité des géométries de Maubeuge.
- 2014 sera aussi l'année de la sortie d'un livre : "à l'endroit de l'inversion" qui abordera les liens entre l'archétype du clown et du sciences théoriques, en quoi le premier peut servir les secondes...
n'hésitez pas à venir vers nous pour quoi que ce soit !!

Steve Stockdale: "General Semantics: An Approach to Effective Language Behavior" at the MOOC
I’m pleased to announce I will be team-teaching my first Massive Open Online Course (or MOOC). This type of free online course provides an alternative means to deliver and experience educational offerings to anyone in the world with access to the Internet.
The course is titled General Semantics: An Approach to Effective Language Behavior, based on a Communication Studies course that Mary Lahman, Ph.D., has taught at Manchester University in Indiana for fifteen years. Greg Thompson, Ph.D. and visiting anthropology professor at BYU, rounds out our teaching team. So participants will benefit from three different perspectives about General Semantics.
Registration is now open for the six-week class that begins 13 January 2014. There is no fee for registration or materials – it’s completely free, offered through the Canvas Network . Here’s the description:
This course provides an introduction to general semantics—the study of how we transform our life experiences into language and thought. Students will learn how their language habits and behaviors, as well as how they think about and share experiences, are what make them uniquely human. In other words, students will discover the critical, but sometimes subtle distinctions between what happens in their lives and how they talk about what happens.
The course will include readings from a wide array of disciplines, such as communication studies, neuroscience, and cultural anthropology. It will also include visual and auditory demonstrations through music and social media, and collaborative interactions with fellow learners. These types of learning experiences allow students to not only learn about more effective language behaviors, but also practice those new behaviors in order to communicate more effectively and appropriately in interpersonal and organizational contexts.
